MABUHAY! Paaralang Pinoy is a Philippine LANGUAGE and CULTURE enrichment program designed for rising 1st grader to rising 5th grader Filipino-Americans. Paaralang Pinoy is linked to the Filipino Ministry of Northern Virginia. Classes are held every Sunday from October through May (following the Fairfax County Public Schools' calendar), 1:30PM - 3:30PM, at St. Bernadette Catholic School located at 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield, VA 22152.
Our faculty is composed of volunteers who share an interest in teaching and a passion for sharing their knowledge about the Philippines. They are dedicated to strengthening the children's pride of their Pilipino heritage and to facilitating their discovery of the richness of Pilipino culture, traditions, history, geography, and language. The teachers have undergone a national criminal background check and are Virtus certified as stipulated by the Diocese of Arlington.
